Social Skill Group 社交技能小組

 

We are pleased to offer an innovative and inclusive communication and social skill group for kindergarten to elementary aged children in a fun and interactive environment. For optimal engagement and individualized attention for each student, group enrollment will be limited to a capacity of 6-7 children. The program is so dynamic through different interesting activities such as science, arts, game, and music.

- Students will learn about:

- Turn-taking skills, Initiating, Joint attention

- Communication functions such as greetings, requesting and commenting for food, actions, help etc.

- Answering choice questions

- Understanding of words, phrases, and simple directions

- Phonetics (depending on individual course)

 - Emotional expression


Dates: September 13, 2025 – December 13, 2025 (No class on October 11)

Time: Saturday: Class : 10:00am – 11:30am

Location: Unit 13, 5694 HWY 7 EAST, Markham, L3P 1B4

Program fees: $35/session/child, total 13 sessions, the period total $455

Course Criteria: Age 5-10, Understand and follow 1-2 step instructions, Speak 2-3 words. No destructive and aggressive behavior (intake is required for first time join student to determine the level)

Art Workshop: Growing Through Making | 藝術工作坊

 

Fall 2025 Art Workshop: Making art is fun, and it can be more than fun! In this workshop, kids will practice fine motor skills, develop social skills, and learn to express emotions while bringing home beautiful crafts. The class is led by a Hong Kong-trained therapist with over 10 years of experience.

  • Dates: Saturdays, October 18 – November 22, 2025

  • Schedule: * Class 1 (Ages 5-9): 2:00 – 3:15 pm

    • Class 2 (Ages 10-15): 3:45 – 5:00 pm

  • Group Size: 6 seats per workshop
